The most awaited engineering entrance exam of the year is just around the corner and the National Testing Agency (NTA) is about to release the admit cards for it.
Yes, the admit cards for JEE Main 2019 would be released by December 17, 2018. This would be the first of the two JEE Main exams that are going to be conducted in 2019. Those of you who have applied for the January session must download JEE Main admit card on time so, as to avoid the last hour rush. The admit cards would be made available on NTA’s official website: www.nta.ac.in
The exam would be held in multiple shifts in the month of January 2019. Candidates who have made registration for JEE Main 2019 were asked to fill the choice of exam date and shift as a part of the detailed application form.
This would also be the first time when JEE Main would be conducted in fully online mode. Unlike last year there was no offline exam option.
Important dates related to the JEE Main 2019
Candidates going to appear for the JEE Main 2019 exam must take a note of the important dates related to the exam cycle. Having a note of important dates would allow the candidates to be up to date with the various events in the exam cycle.

How to download the admit card
- Visit the official website of NTA: www.nta.ac.in
- Click on Engineering exam and then JEE Main 2019 admit card
- Fill in the user id, password and other login details in the candidate’s portal
- Click on submit
- The admit card would be displayed on the screen
- Save the PDF and take 2-3 print out of the same
Documents to be carried along with the JEE Main 2019 admit card
Candidates appearing for JEE Main 2019 exam must carry the print out of the admit card that they have downloaded from the official website to the exam venue.
Along with the admit card candidates would be required to carry a valid photo id proof like Aadhar card/voter id card/Pan Card etc. to the exam venue.

The admit card for JEE Main 2019 exam would carry following details:
- Candidates name and roll number
- Parent’s/Guardian name of the candidate
- Exam shift time
- Exam venue
- Subjects for which exam is to be taken
- Candidate’s photograph
- Candidate’s signature

- JEE Main 2019 center code
No offline admit cards
Admit cards would be made available to the candidates in online mode only and no offline dispatch of the same would take place from the side of NTA.
Instructions on admit card
Candidates must carefully read the instructions given on the back of the JEE Main 2019 admit card. Candidates must not carry prohibited items like mobile, digital watches, calculators etc with them on exam day.
