With a video instructor, you’ll learn at your own pace, and you can review the materials as often as you want. Whenever you have a question, you can make a phone call to your instructor to answer them. Course fees include all of the materials needed for the course, certification fees, exam fees for the online test, and a one-year MICRO membership.

Some of the topics covered in this course include types of mold, health concerns, building and material science, structural systems, ventilation and air flow, tools of the trade, initial customer contact, interior/exterior inspection, sampling, interpreting results, and establishing your inspection business.

Our other course prepares you to remediate mold, which is the isolation, removal, and/or cleaning of materials that have been contaminated by mold. This course has 17 sections and is 30 hours long. Like the course for inspectors, you’ll also have phone access to your instructors, be able to access the course materials anytime you want, and you can learn at your own pace. You’ll learn everything you need to start working as a mold remediator. When you pass the online final exam, you’ll have the nationally-recognized MICRO CMRC certification.
