Tips to Remember Before Sending Just Sold Postcards

It’s always great to close a deal for your buyer’s client or sell a listing officially. You can invite homeowners to your real estate firm and tell them about your listing. In this way, your celebration also opens a door for your potential clients.

Some companies prepare just sold postcards that are real-estate-focused. In your postcards, you can add full-color featured photos, bathrooms, dining hall and bedrooms details, closing price, and a listing description. But before you send these postcards, you must go through the following tips.

Things to Remember Before Sending Just Sold Postcards

Always Go with High-Quality Images

Low-resolution photos can damage the professionalism of your postcards. So, choose high-quality images; otherwise, your efforts will go in vain. The photos must be of at least 300 DPI. Apart from high-resolution images, choose three to four listing photos.

Then, carefully place the best picture as the most prominent photo on the card. These steps can enhance the visibility of your listed postcards.

A Client Testimonial is a Must

As a realtor, always stick to client testimonials. These are a proven way to attract new customers as it showcases your past successes. Before making any purchase, around ninety percent of consumers read feedback and reviews. And before paying a six or seven-figure amount, they must check the agent’s work and customer’s feedback.

Client testimonial means you discuss a client in the postcard who has recently purchased your service. It would be great if the person was a celebrity.

Include Call-to-Action

Your call-to-action must create an urgency whenever someone reads it. You can’t be the best real estate agent if your postcard doesn’t have a strong CTA. One great CTA can be “Call me/Text me/Mail me for a free consultation on home valuation and selling.”

Create a Specific Mailing List

Don’t send your just sold postcards to your potential customers randomly. It may not be a good idea. Instead, you can mail them to subdivisions of the listed area.

The success of mailing postcards lies in targeting the people who have shown interest earlier in the listing price and market conditions in nearby properties. If you are confused about accessing the mailing list, you can do your research. You will find many players in the market who provide mailing lists for flat per-address fees.

Follow-up Postcards

Sending the first batch of postcards is not enough. It is highly recommended that you follow up with monthly or quarterly postcards until you receive a new listing in that area.

There are different postcard designs available. You can send automated seller valuations postcards even if you don’t have a listing. Thus you can send follow-up postcards after sending the sold postcards.

Include Your Address

Contact information should be there on your flyer or postcard. The presentation and placement of the information are crucial. You can include your name, mobile number, email Id, company address, company website, and company logo. But if you fall short of space, have at least your name, phone number, and headshot.

Pay attention to Readability

Tiny things like font color, font size, design, and background color also impact your audience. According to a study, readability decreases with light color texts written on dark backgrounds. And if you have to use it, increase the font’s point size.

One more point you should remember is that don’t add too many texts on the card. Use an infographic format to represent you, and maintain an excellent picture-to-text ratio on your postcards.
